Audi has recently unveiled its new version of its Audi R8 V12 TDI concept at the Geneva Motor Show. It is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 diesel motor which generates 500hp and 738 pound-feet of torque. According to Audi, this R8 achieved 4.2 second at the accelerate of 0 to 62 mph. Other features of the R8 include a glass roof, all-LED headlights, increment of carbon fiber use, revised front and rear aprons, and larger air intakes all around. Audi R8 is based on the concept car Audi Le Mans Quattro. The Audi R8 is presented in 2003 at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Audi R8 changed little from the concept car. The large trapezoidal grille, brand identity, is well integrated into the front, but now with the rings to stand on top of the bonnet and rear, the Audi R8 car has air vents that improve aerodynamics at the front like they have the same function and also to cool the brakes.
Audi R8 has 4.2 liter V8 engine and 32 valves (four per cylinder) that yields 420cv (414hp) at 7800 rpm.
Audi R8 accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.4 seconds, reaching a maximum speed of 301 km / h.

We already know that the Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI quattro will be one of the biggest debuts at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show next month, and we hope we see this one on the stand rather than the silver example we saw yesterday. Bathing this 525-horsepower beauty in buckets of red paint has taken the fiery Italian passion of its Lamborghini-sourced 5.2L V10 and pinned it on the R8's sleeve. This used to be the everyday supercar, but after drinking a glass of bull sweat has grown a pair large enough to drop the "everyday" qualifier and just go with supercar. Enough waxing poetic.
