The Buick La Crosse is a sophisticated mid-size sedan, seating up to six passengers in comfort while providing confident handling and a smooth ride.

The front-wheel drive LaCrosse is available in three trim levels: CX, CXL and Super. The CX and CXL are powered by a 200-hp 3.8-liter V6 engine, while the Super is equipped with a 300-hp 5.3-liter V8, including Active Fuel Management cylinder-deactivation technology for enhanced fuel economy. A four-speed automatic transmission is standard on all trims.

For 2009, the Buick La Crosse gets minor standard equipment upgrades, including heated exterior mirrors, and the CXS trim is removed from the model lineup.
